Without going into detail, we had a much less than desireable experience acquiring our rental car. At first we were given a pickup with monster truck wheels. After that they tried to give us a two-door, 5 speed Escort Coup. After much aggrivation, we settled on this Kia that would not go over 60 mph:

But did you set this rental car on fire? Or anyone's dog, for that matter?
It's looking like all of you are enjoy you trip and it's so beautiful out there. I bet there's alot of laughter going in Alaska right. Enjoy your trip and time together and can't wait until AK part 3.
